The Walk 2026 raised more than €32,000
Saturday 25th was the annual Walk for Life in Arboleas when we raise money to help support people with cancer. After a wet start over 500 people registered to walk or run the 3k and 6k routes and the rain stopped just as the walk started. People from all nationalities walked in groups, in fancy dress, with their children and with their dogs and many more turned out to cheer them on.
Thanks to the wonderfully generous people in our community The Walk has now raised a record amount, over 32,000€. Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a successful event

About Us
Walk for Life, Arboleas is a small group of volunteers helping sufferers of cancer and their families within a 25 km radius of the village.
For more than 10 years, we have provided financial support including help with mobility, translation, and transport – and every client has one to one support, individual to their needs and with complete confidentiality.
Money is raised through fund raising events such as the annual walk in Arboleas, dinner dance and through support from local events such as Quiz and music nights in bars in the area.
The support of local people means that we can continue to offer help that isn’t otherwise available, and the team is grateful to all who contribute.
