LOCAL PEOPLE RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
Walk for Life Arboleas is a registered charity that helps anyone within a 25km radius of Arboleas who is affected by Cancer and is in financial need; helping people of all age ranges and nationalities. The money is raised through donations and events, the main event being the annual Walk of 6 or 3 kilometres around Arboleas. The 2020 walk was cancelled due to the pandemic and was replaced with the 6k Any Way Challenge where people could walk, run, swim, do it on a treadmill or cycle without gathering in groups.

Paul the Pool his wife Anna Bedford and their daughters Imogen and Alannah did 6k a day over 6 days, doing the Walk for Life route on the last day and Melanie Rayner ran it in 38 minutes.
