Jimbo the Scot delivered the calendars, free of charge, this week. They are the same design and high quality as last year with a few extra features. As last year there are lists of emergency numbers, local support groups, animal charities and market days as well as information about the annual walk and 13 stunning photographs of the area taken by local photographers
This year there is also a page translating common fruit, herbs and vegetables into Spanish, an alphabetical list of advertisers with their phone numbers and opposite the three-year calendar a page for you to put your 2020 appointments and personal phone numbers. All this for just €5!
The advertising has paid for all design and production so every cent of your €5
goes to help people in this area affected by cancer. Your first opportunity to buy a calendar will be at the Kubatin, Hostal Meson, Arboleas on Tuesday 14th August from 4pm until 6pm where you can see large framed prints of the 13 feature photographs. After that the calendars will be on sale in several local businesses and we will publish a list.
A huge thank you to Jimbo the Scot for the transport and to Sol Supermercado for their help with distribution.
